Four people charged for aiding perpetrators of Crocus terror attack

MOSCOW, March 28. /TASS/. Four people have been charged as accomplices in the terror attack on Crocus City Hall in Moscow for knowingly abetting the terrorists, sources in law enforcement told TASS.

"Islomov and his two sons, who sold a Renault automobile to the terrorists, as well as Kasimov, who rented out an apartment to them, were aware of Mirzoev, Rachabalizoda, Fariduni and Fayzov’s intention to carry out a terror attack, knew of their plot in advance and abetted them. This is not just an issue of selling something," the source said. He confirmed that the Renault the terrorists used to get to the concert venue in suburban Moscow and get away after committing the crime, was sold to them for 250,000 rubles (about $2,700).

Earlier, the Kommersant newspaper said that the Islomov brothers were gathering information for the terrorists and provided them with transportation.

On the evening of March 22, a terrorist attack targeted the Crocus City Hall music venue in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, just outside the Moscow city limits. At least 143 people were killed, and 360 were injured.

On the same day, the four perpetrators of the attack, Dalerdzhon Mirzoev, Saidakram Rachabalizoda, Shamsidin Fariduni and Muhammadsobir Fayzov, were arrested in the Bryansk Region, southwest of Moscow, as they attempted to flee to Ukraine across the nearby border. Later, the four people suspected of abetting the terrorists, brothers Aminchon and Dilovar Islomov and their father, Isroil Islomov, as well as Alisher Kasimov, were apprehended and arrested.
