Prague shooting not connected to terrorism, organized crime — Prime Minister

The police and security agencies assured the prime minister that they are in full control of the situation and the citizens are not in danger

PRAGUE, December 21. /TASS/. The shooting at the Philosophy Department of the Charles University in Prague is not connected to terrorism or organized crime, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said.

"The shooting […] at the Charles University is not an act of terrorism and it is not connected to organized crime. At this point, this incident looks like a deed of a lone attacker," the prime minister said, according to the Czech Radio.

The police and security agencies assured the prime minister that they are in full control of the situation and the citizens are not in danger.
