MOSCOW, November 25. /TASS/. Brazilian mixed style (MMA) fighter Vinicius Cruz lost his fight at the Absolute Championship Akhmat (ACA) tournament by technical knockout, when after one of the blows part of his ear was torn off, an official with the organization told TASS.

"Vinicius Cruz lost the fight by technical knockout to Edil Esengulov (of Kyrgyzstan - TASS). After one of the blows from Esengulov, part of Cruz’s ear was torn off. He received all the necessary help, nothing threatens his life," the official said.

The ACA tournament takes place in St. Petersburg.
