TASS. January 29. A magnitude 4.7 earthquake hit northwestern Iran on Sunday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
The epicenter was located at a depth of ten kilometers some 17 kilometers northwest from the city of Khoy with a population of 175,000.
No casualties or damages were reported.
A magnitude 5.9 earthquake rocked this area on Saturday. The epicenter was located 23 kilometers southeast from Khoy. According to the latest update, three people were killed and 973 were injured.
