Petrobras halts P-25 platform in Albacora field due to pipeline leak — media

P-25 platform is located in the Campos Basin some 110 km away from Brazil's coast

MOSCOW, April 23. /TASS/. /TASS/. Brazil's state-run Petrobras oil company has halted production at platform P-25 in the Albacora field after identifying an oil spill from the offshore pipeline, Reuters reported on Tuesday citing the company's statement.

P-25 platform is located in the Campos Basin some 110 km away from Brazil's coast. The spill is estimated at 941 liters.

"The company has promptly sent ships to the location, tasked with removal of the oil spill," Petrobras said adding that regulatory bodies have been notified of the incident.
