The suspect is a 16-year-old boy

MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. A teenager suspected of making an explosive device has been detained in Moscow, a security source told TASS on Friday.

"An improvised explosive device and components used to make bombs have been discovered in his apartment," the source said, adding that an investigation was underway.

The source also said that the 16-year-old boy had been tracked down during an investigation into a blast in the Federal Security Service (FSB) Office in the city of Arkhangelsk. "Investigators found out that the 17-year-old Arkhangelsk bomber had contacted this Moscow teenager," the source noted.

On October 31, a 17-year-old resident of the Arkhangelsk Region blew himself up at the entrance to the regional FSB office. The blast killed the attacker and left three FSB officers wounded.
