WASHINGTON, October 25. /TASS/. The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has confirmed that two additional suspicious packages were intercepted.

"In addition to the five packages referenced in our earlier statement, we have now confirmed two additional packages, both addressed to Rep. Maxine Waters, that are similar in appearance," FBI said on its official Twitter account.

On Wednesday, several suspicious packages containing explosive devices were intercepted in the United States. They were mailed to leading Democratic figures, including former US President Barack Obama, former State Secretary Hillary Clinton, billionaire George Soros, former CIA director John Brennan and former Attorney General Eric Holder.
