WASHINGTON, Octoner 25. /TASS/. The US Fedral Bureau of Investigation (FBI) does not rule out that additional suspicious packages have been mailed to other locations across the country.

"It is possible that additional packages were mailed to other locations," FBI said in a statement quoted by CNN. "[Do] not touch, move or handle any suspicious or unkown packages."

"This investigation is of the highest priority for the FBI. We have committed the full strength of the FBI's resources and, together with our partners on our Joint Terrorism Task Forces, we will continue to work to identify and arrest whoever is responsible for sending these packages," FBI Director Christopher Wray said in a statement.

"We ask anyone who may have information to contact the FBI. Do not hesitate to call; no piece of information is too small to help us in this investigation," he added.

On Wednesday, several suspicious packages were intercepted in the United States. They were mailed to leading Democratic figures, including former US President Barack Obama, former State Secretary Hillary Clinton, billionaire George Soros, former CIA director John Brennan and former Attorney General Eric Holder.
