Moldovan government to help Kaluga road crash victims

According to preliminary reports, eight people, including six Moldovans, died and several more Moldovan nationals were injured after the accident

OMSK, August 4. /TASS/. Moldova’s government is providing assistance to the Moldovan nationals injured in a car accident in the Russian central Kaluga region on Saturday and to the families of those who died in the crash, Moldovan President Igor Dodon told TASS.

On August 3, Dodon arrived in the southwestern Siberian city of Omsk on a visit, due to last until August 5.

"I know about that tragedy. Our foreign ministry and government are tackling the issue. We will do our best to provide help," Dodon said.

According to preliminary reports, eight people, including six Moldovans, died and several more Moldovan nationals were injured and taken to hospitals after a van, a car and a truck collided in the Russian Kaluga region, some 230 kilometers southwest of Moscow.
