KRASNOYARSK, April 13. /TASS/. The Norilsk Nickel Company (Nornickel) plans to improve the system of training young specialists to make it answer the production requirements, the company’s Deputy Head of the Human Resources Policies Evgenia Patsyna said on sidelines of the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum.
"We see a certain gap between the university education and the production requirements," she said. "We shall modernize our system of education in the format ‘school-colledge/university-enterprise’."
"Right now, we are auditing the current situation and will choose the educational technologies to use," she added.
The program will be aimed first of all at people living in Norilsk. "For the young people, who want to work at Norilsk Nickel, we have a system of benefits, like corporate scholarships," she said. "We shall continue offering such instruments of loyalty and in future will focus on the people living in Norilsk - we are interested to have young people from our backbone region work at our company."
The Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum is working from April 12 to April 14. Its main topic is dubbed "Russia 2018 - 2024: Implementing the Potential." TASS is the event’s strategic information partner.
