MOSCOW, April 9. /TASS/. The euro rose by 5.56% against the ruble during the trading session on the Moscow Exchange on Monday and climbed to 75.35 rubles at 17.54 Moscow time.
The euro was at the level of 75 rubles last time on August 3, 2016.
The euro declined as of 18.03 Moscow time to 74.05 rubles, up 3.74% against the closing level on Friday evening.
The dollar is currently traded at 60.17 rubles, 3.43% above the closing level during the previous trading session.
The ruble rate and the Russian stock market are declining against the background of sanctions introduced by US authorities against Russian officials, businessmen and companies.
