MOSCOW, April 4./TASS/. The Albanian government has unilaterally scrapped visas for Russian nationals from April 1 to October 31, 2018, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

"The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania resolved on March 21 to give the Russian nationals the right to visa-free entry into the country between April 1 and October 31, 2018," the ministry said in a report.

"The rules will be applied to the Russian nationals holding valid foreign passports, making tourist trips to Albania or private trips for a period of up to 90 days," it said.

"The Russian Foreign Ministry reminds the Russian tourists that they must have medical insurance for the whole period of their staying abroad," the report added.
