Trade turnover between Minsk, Moscow on track to reach $28 bln in 2017 — Belarusian PM

According to the prime minister, the two countries "need to put the most efforts to fortify the positive trend"

GOMEL, December 8. /TASS/. Belarusian Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov considers it necessary for Minsk and Moscow to maintain positive trends in mutual trade, which is on track to equal around $28 bln by the end of this year.

"The trade turnover has been demonstrating positive dynamics this year. Meanwhile, I would like to note that by the end of this year we are going to reach the result of 2010 of $28 bln at most, which can hardly be referred to as an outstanding result taking into consideration the fact that at the best of times the trade turnover (between Russia and Belarus - TASS) surpassed $40 bln," he said at the session of the Council of Ministers of the Union of State of Russia and Belarus on Friday.

According to Kobyakov, the two countries "need to put the most efforts to fortify the positive trend."
