Kamaz car output up 13% in 11 months

Kamaz manufactured 35,300 cars in January-November 2017

MOSCOW, December 6. /TASS/. Kamaz manufactured 35,300 cars in January-November 2017, which is 13% more than in the same period last year, according to the company’s press release.

In November, in annual terms, the output increased by 5.2% to 4,400 vehicles.

Kamaz reported earlier on its financial results, Thus, net profit of Kamaz in the first half of 2017 under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) reached 990 mln rubles ($16.86 mln) against a loss of 1.93 bln rubles ($32.87 mln) a year earlier. According to the company's report, profit attributable to shareholders amounted to 1.094 bln rubles ($18.63 mln).

Revenue in the reporting period increased by 32% to 62.32 bln rubles ($1.06 bln). EBITDA reached was 4.262 bln rubles ($72.68 mln), increasing 11.5-fold year-on-year.

The company’s net debt as of June 30, 2017 amounted to 23.545 bln rubles ($401.57 mln).

The company noted that during the reporting period, sales of Kamaz cars in domestic and foreign markets increased by 16% to 15,000 units against the same period last year and ensured an increase in consolidated revenues of the group.

According to the company's data, for the six months of 2017, the share of Kamaz in the Russian market of trucks weighing more than 14 tones reached 49.5%.
