MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. The Russian Central Bank does not see any factors that could lead to high volatility of the ruble in the near future, Director of the Central Bank’s Monetary Policy Department Igor Dmitriev said on Wednesday.
"In terms of ruble rate dynamics we do not expect any shocks for the forthcoming period. Balance of payment flows are fairly coherent ... Currently we do not see a situation that would lead to large-scale exchange rate volatility on the horizon," he said.
Earlier, Government of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina noted that the Russian economy is not used to volatility of floating ruble exchange rate, but floating ruble will be more positive and favorable for the economy.
