Putin to discuss plans for 2018 with Gazprom CEO

According to Peskov, the president has several working meetings scheduled for Tuesday

MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting with Chairman of Gazprom Management Committee Alexey Miller to discuss preliminary results of the company's work in 2017 and plans for 2018, Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

According to Peskov, the president has several working meetings for Tuesday. "There will be a public meeting with Head of Gazprom Alexey Miller. Miller will report to the president on preliminary results of the year and on prospective plans for 2018," Peskov said. He added that Putin and Miller "agreed in advance on such a detailed meeting."

Putin will also meet with the Secretary-General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Yuri Khachaturov. Peskov noted that a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council will take place in Minsk on November 30. He added that Tuesday’s meeting will be devoted to this event.

The Collective Security Treaty was signed in Tashkent on May 15, 1992, and the agreement on the creation of the CSTO - on October 7, 2002. To date, the organization includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
