KUWAIT CITY, March 26. /TASS/. Russia and OPEC discussed a possible extension of the agreement on cutting oil output, Russia's Minister of Energy Alexander Novak told reporters on Sunday.

"We had discussions, and said that bigger dynamics was in February, we have common percentage of observing the agreement - 94% - both OPEC and nonocartel," the minister said.

"We discussed those issues yesterday, and we discussed them today," the minister said adding as yet he could not present Russia's position and suggested waiting till the meeting is over.

Besides, he said, Russia is for 100% fulfilment of the agreement on cutting the output. The country plans by late April the cut would make 300,000 barrels a year against October, 2016, he added.
