HOUSTON, March 7. /TASS/. The date of the trilateral gas meeting has not been set, as Russia and Ukraine have not yet expressed a desire to hold talks, Vice-President of the European Commission (EC), in charge of Energy Union Maros Sefcovic told TASS.
"The European Commission is ready to organize a meeting at any time. We are communicating on all the issues, but so far there was no request from either party," he said, answering the question about the date of the next meeting.
Trilateral meeting between Russia, the European Union and Ukraine on supplies of Russian gas to Ukraine and its transit to the EU was held on December 9 in Brussels, but did not end with practical agreements. The parties agreed to continue contacts, in particular, Gazprom and Naftogaz, will hold consultations.
