HOUSTON, March 7. /TASS/. Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak held a meeting with representatives of 13 world funds and companies within the framework of the international oil and gas conference CERAWeek in the USA. Investors are interested in specific projects in Russia, he told reporters.
"They asked question about specific projects. There were companies, also foundations, but more companies," he said.
First Deputy Minister of Energy Alexei Texler noed representatives of 13 funds and companies attended the meeting.
According to the minister, investors not only the from the USA, but from China and the United Arab Emirates visited the meeting, including Fidelity, Wellington, Capital Group Companies, CIC, ADIA. The minister noted that the meeting was positive, investors were well aware of the economic situation in Russia.
CERAWeek energy conference is held in Houston from March 6 to 10.
