Gazprom to agree launch of gas supplies to China via eastern route in 2018

HONG KONG, March 2. /TASS/. Russia’s largest gas producer Gazprom expects the date of the launch of gas supplies to China via the so-called ‘eastern route’ to be agreed in 2018, Deputy Chairman Alexander Medvedev told TASS on Thursday.

"We expect that the date of supplies [launch] will be agreed with the Chinese side already next year," he said.
