MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) issued a warning note in the service maintenance case to Apple Rus LLC, a Russian affiliate of Apple, and ordered to open an integrated service center in Russia by May 1, the regulator said on Monday.

"FAS of Russia issued a warning note to Apple Rus LLC. The company should open an integrated service center in the territory of Russia by May 1, 2017," FAS said.

Apple was not able to promptly comment on the situation.

The Russian antimonopoly regulator opened the case against Apple regarding the after-sales maintenance in December 2016. In particular, FAS received an application from a citizen who failed to replace a smartphone display in a service center as he was offered to replace the telephone by a new one.
