MAGNITOGORSK, February 14. /TASS/. The volume of unauthorized operations with payment cards amounted to 1.08 bln rubles ($18.6 mln) in 2016, according to First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Central Bank Georgy Luntovsky.
"The volume of unauthorized operations using payment cards in 2016 amounted to about 1.08 bln rubles ($18.6 mln), in 2015 - about 1.15 bln rubles ($19.8 mln)," he said.
At the same time, the volume of unauthorized transactions from the accounts of legal entities in 2016 halved year-on-year to 1.9 bln rubles ($32.7 mln).
"The volume of unauthorized transactions from accounts of legal entities amounted to around 1.9 bln rubles ($32.7 mln) in 2016. For comparison - in 2015 this figure amounted to about 3.8 bln rubles ($65.39 mln)," Luntovsky said.
