First Deputy PM says priority projects’ outcome will be clear by May 2018

MOSCOW, January 12. /TASS/. The first results of the government’s work on priority projects and strategic development will be clear by May 2018, Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said Thursday.

"Regarding the latest results, after President (Vladimir Putin) outlined a new format on national priorities and strategic development, it’s too early to expect results. The first serious results of our work are expected by the spring of 2018, or maybe later - by 3-5 years," he said.

Shuvalov added that he is not satisfied with the government’s work on shifting to the so-called ‘project method’ as there is no synergy between project offices of ministries and that of the government.
