Russia to suspend flights to Tajikistan if it backtracks on commitments

MOSCOW, December 21. /TASS/. Russia may suspend flights to Tajikistan starting December 22 in case the country backtracks on its commitments, a source in the Russian Transport Ministry told TASS Wednesday.

"The Russian side reserves the right to suspend the air service between the two countries starting 00:00 on December 22 unless the Tajik side keeps to the assumed commitments. The refusal of the Tajik aviation authorities to approve the flight of Russia's Yamal airline from Khujand to Zhukovsky referring to disparity, is not eligible," the source said.
