Russian government prepares documents for finalizing deal on Rosneft privatization

MOSCOW, December 7. /TASS/. The Russian government has prepared all necessary documents for finalizing the deal on privatization of a stake in Rosneft, the governmental press service told TASS on Wednesday.

"Governmental documents and directives for finalizing the deal on selling a stake in Rosneft have been prepared, they will be issued soon," the press service said.

"Rosneft's head Igor Sechin reported on the details of the deal to Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in the evening," the press service added.

On Wednesday, Rosneft’s head Igor Sechin said at the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin that the deal on selling a 19.5% stake in Rosneft for 10.5 billion euro has been completed. The consortium of Glencore trader company and Qatar’s sovereign find became a strategic investor.
