MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. Lukoil will support decisions taken by the Russian Energy Ministry within the performance framework of agreements reached at the OPEC summit for the purpose of oil prices stabilization, the Russian oil major said on Wednesday after the meeting between Oil Minister of Iraq Jabbar al-Luaibi and President of Lukoil Vagit Alekperov.
The parties particularly discussed prospects of joint projects in Iraq, including West Qurna 2 field, and coordination of activities of oil market participants to support the midterm balance.
President of Lukoil also held talks with the Oil Minister of Iran Bijan Namdar Zanganeh. The parties discussed opportunities for Russian companies to participate in projects in Iran and other current development and production matters, the company said.
