Kremlin spokesman says appointment of new economic minister expected soon

MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. The appointment of the new Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation is expected quite soon, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday.

"Quite soon," he said when asked when the appointment is expected.

According to Peskov, the announcement about the appointment of the new minister and President’s annual state of the nation address to the Federal Assembly are unrelated things.

"This may happen either prior to the address or after the address," he said.
