Raw materials sector is not future of Russia’s economy, First Deputy PM says

SINGAPORE, November 25. /TASS/. The raw materials sector is not the future of the Russian economy, First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said Friday.

"Russia is already integrated into the global economy, and it will remain so. The raw stuff is not the future of the Russian economy, of course. The raw materials sector will keep developing, but it is not worth spending the funds raised from it on budget expenditures," he said.
