MOSCOW, November 21. /TASS/. Supplies of narrow-body passenger aircraft Embraer 170-LR for Russia’s S7 air carrier will start in February 2017, S7 Group shareholder Natalia Fileva told reporters on Monday.
"Start of [aircraft] deliveries is scheduled to February 2017. All of them will be based in Novosibirsk," Fileva said.
Seventeen aircraft will be supplied in four years, a company’s representative said. The airline expects to receive "about 10 aircraft" next year, the source said.
The aircraft are purchased from a leasing company. The average age of aircraft is 11-12 years, the source said. He did not mention the previous aircraft operator.
It was reported earlier Irish-American GE Capital Aviation Services Limited acts as a lessor.
