LIMA, November 20. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived at the Lima Convention Center to attend events of the final day of the Asia Pacifi Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit. The Russian president, as well as other leaders, was welcomed by the host of the summit, Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski.
The second day opened with the leaders’ meeting with Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Christine Lagarde. "It is expected to discuss IMF’s activities in the Asia Pacific region," Russian president’s aide Yuri Ushakov told journalists earlier.
Later in the day, the leaders will have two working sessions and a working breakfast.
The summit is to yield a declaration.
The APEC presidency will go over from Peru to Vietnam.
