TEHRAN, November 14. /TASS/. Iran wants to continue negotiations on a free trade zone with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Valentina Matviyenko, the speaker of Russia’s Federation Council upper parliament house, said on Monday after talks with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
"Both the president and the foreign minister spoke in favor of further talks on the establishment of a free trade zone with the Eurasian Economic Union," she said. "As the foreign minister said, they hope to finish the first stage of talks this year to continue the negotiations on the agreement next year."
