Medvedev plans to discuss developing economic ties with Israeli leadership

Medvedev expressed hope for the constructive progress of talks

JERUSALEM, November 9. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev plans to discuss developing economic ties during his official visit to Israel.

"Our meeting (with Israel's leadership) will be to a considerable extent devoted to developing economic ties. However, it will not be limited to that because there are many things going on in the world now, there are always many problems in the Middle East. Of course, they will be in the center of attention as well. That's why we will go through the agenda, and I will inform you about the results," Medvedev told journalists on Wednesday.

The Russian prime minister reminded that he was not able to visit Israel in the capacity of the Russian president due to a strike organized by Israeli Foreign Ministry employees. Medvedev also expressed hope for the constructive progress of talks.
