STRELNA, November 7. /TASS/. VTB Bank is ready to participate in the planned placement of OFZ in yuan, VTB Head Andrey Kostin said on Monday.

"The Finance Ministry announced that it wants to issue bonds in yuan. We are certainly willing to participate in this process, because we have a good standing in the Chinese market," Kostin said.

Kostin added that VTB itself does not need to attract funding in yuan. "So far, we have no need for the yuan. We have already held such placements, and it was generally successful. We will certainly not do it this year," he said.
