MOSCOW, October 28. /TASS/. Russia’s State Duma (lower house of parliament) may consider draft budget for 2017-2019 in the first reading at the plenary session on November 18, chairman of the State Duma’s budget and taxes committee Andrey Makarov on Friday.

"The first reading of the draft federal budget at the plenary session of the State Duma may be held on November 18," Makarov said following the draft budget’s submission to the State Duma.

According to Makarov, the period for consideration of the budget bill set by the Budget Code is not more than 60 days. "However, we all realize that the federal budget is an important guidance for regional budgets and our today’s task is to make sure that regions receive those guidelines as soon as possible," he added.
