MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/. Russian oil major Lukoil has warned about the existence of a fake company registered in the UK under the name Oil Company Lukoil Ltd.
According to the company’s press release that company has no connection to Lukoil.
"The members of the management of Lukoil have not given their consent for the establishment of that legal entity and their appointment as directors of Oil Company Lukoil Ltd," the company said.
Lukoil’s press service warned against any relations with the fake company and persons acting on its behalf.
Earlier three other Russian companies - Surgutneftegas, Tatneft and Transneft issued statements warning about the existence of fake companies with the same names in the UK.
