Medvedev signs decree on implementation of strategic development projects

The decree approves a plan of priority measures to organize project activities in 2016-2017

MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/. Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a resolution and a decree which set the order of implementation of priority projects and programs of strategic development, the government said in a statement on its website.

The draft resolution on organization of project activities by the Government of the Russian Federation was considered and approved at a cabinet meeting on October 13.

The document establishes the procedure for the organization of project activities, defines the organizational structure of their management, as well as the stages of initiation, preparation, implementation, monitoring and completion.

The relevant decree approves a plan of priority measures to organize project activities in 2016-2017. The plan envisages organizational events, normative and methodological support, creation of a computerized data base of project activities, development of competencies of participants of these activities.

Earlier an official with the cabinet told TASS that prior goals of strategic development until 2018 and up to 2025 concern such sectors as: healthcare, education, mortgage and rental housing, utilities and urban environment, international cooperation and exports, productivity, small businesses and support self-employment initiatives. It also envisages the reform of control and supervisory activities, construction of safe and high-quality roads, environmental projects and company towns.
