BP CEO says Rosneft offered fair price for Bashneft

BP holds 19.75% of shares in Rosneft

ISTANBUL, October 10. /TASS/. The price offered by Rosneft for Bashneft oil produce is fair, Chief Executive Officer of UK’s BP Robert Dudley told TASS on the sidelines of the World Energy Congress.

"I estimate that is a fear price, it's a little bit about the market," Dudley said.

BP holds 19.75% of shares in Rosneft.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed the decree on selling a 50.075% stake in Bashneft to Rosneft for 329.7 bln rubles ($5.3 bln) earlier today.
