Russian Government zeroes wheat export duty from Sept 23 to July 1, 2018

The wheat export duty was effective in Russia since summer 2015

MOSCOW, September 27. /TASS/. The Russian Government zeroed export duty on wheat from September 23, 2016, to July 1, 2018, according to the Government resolution.

Russia’s Agriculture Minister Alexander Tkachev earlier talked about the fact that te export duty on grain will be reset from September 23.

The wheat export duty is effective in Russia since summer 2015. Since it was introduced the duty’s calculation formula changed several times. The latest export duty of wheat was 50% of its custom value minus 6,500 ($101.6) rubles, but not less than 10,000 ($156.3) rubles per tonne.
