ALGERIA, September 27. /TASS/. The meeting of the intergovernmental commission between Russia and Algeria will be held by the end of this year in Algeria, Russia’s Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on the sidelines of the International Energy Forum on Tuesday.
"By the end of this year. Our colleagues have to set the date as the intergovernmental commission will be held here, in Algeria," he said.
Previously the plan was to hold the meeting of the Russia-Algerian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic and scientific-technical cooperation in late September, in Algeria.
The trade turnover between the two countries surged 2.3-fold over the past year from $885.3 mln in 2014 to $2 bln in 2015. In January-February period of this year, the trade turnover between Russia and Algeria increased 3.5-fold to $305.2 mln.
