MOSCOW, September 17. /TASS/. Gazprom’s natural gas export to non-CIS countries increased 9.4% year-on-year from January 1 to September 15, 2016, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

In the reporting period, gas exports to the UK surged 54.7%, to France - by 27.1%, to Poland - by 20%, to the Netherlands - by 91.5%
Gas exports to Greece grew by 68.7%, to Macedonia - by 20.3%, according to the statement.
Earlier, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said that exports of Gazprom to Europe by the end of 2016 may exceed 170 billion cubic meters. He did not rule out that high gas export volumes may be maintained in 2017.
In 2015, Gazprom increased gas exports to non-CIS countries by 8% compared with the previous year - up to 159.4 billion cubic meters.
