Fourteen companies set to become Kamchatka’s free port residents — official

Free Port residents have a right to significant benefits, including lower income tax rate and exemption from corporate property and land tax

VLADIVOSTOK, August 22. /TASS/. Fourteen companies have already expressed their desire to become residents of the Free Port to be created in Kamchatka, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev said on Monday.

"Kamchatka said 14 enterprises already reserved places in a queue," Trutnev said. Russia’s Far East Development Minister Alexander Galushka will chair Kamchatka’s free port commission, he added.

Free Port residents have a right to significant benefits, including lower income tax rate and exemption from corporate property and land tax. Free customs zone regime is also provided to Free Port residents subject to certain conditions.
