ST. PETERSBURG, August 9. /TASS/. Turkish meat producers understand that Russia needs to protect its poultry makers but express readiness to be present on the Russian market along with other countries, Turkey’s Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci said on Tuesday.
"We understand the Russia’s intention to protect national producers in poultry making sphere; we have no task to compete with Russian produces," the minister said. "On the other side, I am confident that if companies, for example, from Brazil, the United States, and other countries are present on your market, then companies from the neighboring and the closest country to you have a right [to enter the Russian market]," Zeybekci added.
