BAKU, August 8. /TASS/. Slovenia has not sent proposals to Russian Railways regarding constriction of a railway line from a port to the north of the country but the project is potentially interesting for them, Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov said on Monday.
"Russian Railways are interested in a project in Slovenia - the construction project of building the second rail track from the Slovenian port to the north of the country. One line is currently there. This project may be interesting in terms of a contract and subsequent railway operation. No specific proposals have been received by the Russian Railways from the Slovenian side but the company showed interest in that project," Sokolov said.
