MOSCOW, August 8. /TASS/. Russia’s federal budget deficit amounted to 1.5 trillion rubles ($23.2 bln) in January - July 2016, up 35.4% year-on-year, the Federal Treasury said on Monday.
Budget expenditures as of August 1 totaled 8.5 trillion rubles ($131.2 bln). Revenues amount to 7 trillion rubles ($108.1 bln).
Social policy (2.7 trillion rubles or $41.7 bln), national defense (1.7 trillion rubles or $26.3 bln) and national security and law enforcement (981.7 bln rubles or $15.2 bln) budget lines account for the highest expenditures.
