MOSCOW, August 1. /TASS/. France’s Total transferred 20% of its participation interest in Kharyaga oilfield production sharing agreement (PSA) and operator’s functions to Zarubezhneft, the Russian company said on Monday.
Participation interests are as follows from August 1: Zarubezhneft - 20%, Zarubezhneft Dobycha Kharyaga (operator) - 20%. Statoil - 30%, Total - 20%, and Nenets Oil Company - 10%.
Kharyaga PSA is one of three current projects in Russia implemented under production sharing agreement terms. Recoverable reserves of Kharyaga oilfield amount to 49.1 mln tonnes. Production peak of 1.9-2 mln tonnes is scheduled to be reached in 2017-2018.
