MOSCOW, June 28. /TASS/. Russia plans to increase electricity generation from renewable energy sources ten-fold within the next 20 years, Russia’s First Deputy Energy Minister Aleksey Texler told TASS.
"The generation of electrical energy from renewables may surge ten-fold from the current level within 20 years," he said, adding that "the volumes will still be small compared with other sources though no other type of fuel will see such (growth) rates."
