China’s Tianjin hosts annual meeting of World Economic Forum

Fourth Industrial Revolution will be the official topic of the event this year

TIANJIN, June 26. /TASS/. World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2016 also known as "Summer Davos Forum" opens today in China’s Tianjin.

The Forum is expected to be attended by China’s Prime Minister Li Keqiang and Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev. Leaders and government officials of such countries as Afghanistan, Canada, Kirgizia, Luxembourg, Czech Republic and others will visit the Forum.

The business community will have a wide presentation. Among the event partners are Russia’s VTB Bank, Sberbank, VimpelCom, Lukoil, Perm Financial and Industrial Group, Kaspersky Lab and Basic Element.

Fourth Industrial Revolution will be the official topic of the event this year. China hosts the Annual Meeting of the New Champions for the tenth time in 2016.
