BERLIN, June 23. /TASS/. Gazprom may increase gas supplies to the United Kingdom by 8-12 bln cubic meters, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Gazprom Alexander Medvedev said on Thursday.
"It is being discussed. From 8 to 12 bln [cubic meters - TASS]," Medvedev said.
Other options for pipeline gas supplies are in place in addition to branch pipes, Medvedev said. Existing pipelines may be used by their expansion, he added.
"Our rule is simple: gas should be sold before transporting it. The method of supply will be determined subject to economic consideration. The option of [branch pipeline from Nord Stream-2 project] is technically possible," Medvedev said.
