MOSCOW, June 22. /TASS/. Power unit N3 of China’s Tianwan nuclear power plant, which is being constructed with the participation of Russia’s Atomic Energy State Corporation Rosatom, is planned to be commissioned in February 2018, Rosatom’s engineering division ASE said in its statement on Wednesday.
"Under a schedule, the fuel should be loaded to the third power unit at the end of August 2017," the statement wrote, adding, "The general contract envisages the commissioning of the third power union in February 2018, and the fourth unit in December 2018."
Russia’s atomic energy giant Rosatom took part in the construction of the first and second power units of the Tianwan NPP in China. Now, the two sides are constructing the second stage of the NPP. The stage will embrace two power units - reactors N3 and N4.
