ST. PETERSBURG, June 17. /TASS/. Russia is ready to cooperate with Europe in energy sphere and do not consider any project in this sphere is closed, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
"We do not essentially consider any issue as closed; we on our part are ready for cooperation [with Europe]. We await similar attitude of our European, particularly Italian, partners," the Russian leader said.
Russia is ready "for joint work on implementation of projects in our agenda - many of them are in place," Putin said. "We are generally satisfied with progress in work. Concerning some complications, such as the Europe’s Third Energy Package and others, I believe we will gradually find a decision to debottleneck these complicated matters," the Russian president said.
